It saves Rivian/Tesla money on parts while it requires me to go through a ridiculous series of screen clicks to do something as simple as adjusting the mirrors or steering wheel
It's two clicks. Profile name at the top bar and then which of the two you want to adjust. I'm adjusting them maybe once or twice a year so having physical buttons just seems like a waste for those functions.

It's two clicks in one place, and then a lot of scrolling in another place. I sometimes adjust the right mirror down when parking against a curb. Way more work and less intuitive than a little joystick that I don't even have to look at. And when I did my First Drive I gave up on adjusting the steering wheel because I just wanted to drive and it was taking too long.

I love having a touchscreen, but I don't want every control in the car on it. Makes no sense.
