Forest Edge discontinued for Gen 2 R1

I am surprised they didn't make Forest Edge at least a high-end option for the tri-motor. We get nothing but compliments from anyone who sees our interior. I understand streamlining options to control costs, but this seems like a missed opportunity.

Not sure it's official they got rid of it. It was in Kyle's video displayed next to the other new options.

Some of the combos aren't available on the configurator right now, including the new two-tone Slate Blue/Coast option so it's possible they'll relaunch FE again as they scale up.

Ah ok, I don't know about everyone else, but the configurator is a bit more convoluted...

Maybe it is replaced with the 'Slate' color option for the Ascend trims.
Under certain light Slate might look a bit like FE as that can look very grayish under certain lights (at least per my observation, I daily drive a FE)

A gray like Slate would be replacement of FE as it is between the black and white colors.

So lower trim (Adventure) only get B or W.
Higher trim gets B, W or gray as options.
