If you want the most range for road trips max pack is the way to go. If you buy them, they are are offering 2.9% , not sure about their lease deals.
Roadtrips will be better once you have a Tesla adapter and hopefully the charging infrastructure gets better.
Thanks. We are leaning towards the max pack unless the Large+ pack can charge to 100% without the curve falling off a cliff. It will be interesting to see the range test and charging curve. I wish Rivian would hurry up and announce any plans/pricing/timing for unlocking the Large+ pack.

I read that sometimes Rivian includes free PPF if you get the max pack. Anyone know more about this? Didn't see anything on their website.

We have a max pack and usually charge 50-60% most days and on roadtrips up to 95%. It is surprisingly efficient on road trips and we’re happy with it. Less range anxiety to me is worth the extra$. Hope you find the one that fits your needs.
