I've known that new tire time was coming soon, so I've been periodically checking them. Waited too long to do that last rotation so fronts are more worn and by the time I realized, it wasn't worth doing it again. Oops.
I looked at my drivers front this weekend and see it's almost at the wear bars. I pop around to the other side and that tire is completely bald! I mean like vague resemblances of treads on about 2 1" stripes in the middle. Ok, my bad for not paying closer attention.
However, why would my front right be wearing so much compared to the front left? Maybe alignment, but the tire itself wore evenly (inside or outside isn't worn more). Should I have the suspension checked out? I've got an appt for an assortment of things next week. What would I tell them to look for?

I have mine in for service now. When I got there and they did the walk around with me he said my tires were just about shot. 29,xxx miles on the original 22” pirelli’s is pretty good if you ask me. He said look, turned my tires and showed how they are wearing badly inside. I never drive in very low and do not go crazy while driving. He said it is 100% the alignment.
I knew I needed one but i guess I waited too long to get it.
so that is my guess for you, alignment.
good luck!

My 21" Pirellis did the same. Rotated every 3-5k for 20k miles, but the wear on the front right was always much greater than anywhere else at each rotation. It was really apparent at the end, with that front right tire bald as can be and the back two still pretty good. I was reluctant to take it in for alignment because there was no steering wheel shake, it drove straight as an arrow, and was very smooth and quiet. That being said, I'm very interested in finding out what the cause is, so I'm not replacing at a faster rate than expected (now driving on 20" with Goodyear Wranglers on).

Alignment issues. These tires had 2100 miles on them. All 4 were replaced due to bad alignment on the rear tires.
