Mine wiggled a bunch at first. I found if I shimmied it side to side and back and forth when locking, it would find the sweet spot and click in solid.

I also got different codes on my keys. The two plastic keys do not work. Only the metal. This isn’t intentional correct?

Exactly the same thing happened to me. When i had them out here for service on my wind noise, they put in a ticket to get me the proper keys

I‘ve ordered two sets and only had the chance to try out one set so far. One side wouldn’t lock in place even after multiple “forceful” tries. I submitted a ticket and mobile service is coming to my house this week to adjust or replace. Fortunately I’ll have a chance to test out the second set prior to the mobile service - just in case.

the metal is A140. The plastic A150. Maybe they mixed us up and we can swap!

What number is your metal and what number is your plastic? Which works on your rack?

Alas, my primary are A150 as well and my second set was A152. If they give you A140 and you get spare A150s, I call dibs!

Regarding the mismatched keys. I had the same but I reached out to the folks at Yakima CS and they helped me swap out my cores so now all of my setup is matched to one key, including my Road shower and Forklift.

Word on the street is they got good stock of cores for swapping right now.

You can also order more A152's from Yakima if you want to replace the two that came with your crossbars. They sell custom orders...

May as well add a second set to your configuration, then you’ll have the original price.
