Yes, I watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. The Kia EV6 commercial is my favorite. Second place goes to BMW.

I agree, the EV6 commercial was the best! They smartly included an EV dog and a song everyone likes, making it almost irresistible.

The Ioniq 5 commercial ran immediately before kickoff so you could count that one as well if you want. I can’t recall ever seeing a single EV SB commercial.

I enjoyed the subtle shade Polestar threw at Tesla in its commercial.

I head Rivian planned to have a commercial spot this year and it’ll be ready s00n.

I enjoyed the GM Austin Powers one, but I’m the right age group to get it.

I don’t get the point of the EV commercials at this point. Only a few of the advertised vehicles are available for sale, and none of them can yet be manufactured at any real volume yet. It’s not like any of these will result in new sales, except for maybe Polestar.

The Sopranos one hit me in the nostalgia (but I have watched that series all the way through about 7 times).

Nostalgia aside i laughed heartily at Austin Powers but have no recollection of what it was advertising. And found the EV6 commercial really charming.

They also threw shade at VW (dieselgate). I thought it was a clever ad. Has a lot of Steve Jobs vibe.

The funniest part of the Austin Powers GM commercial was the idea that GM is going to be the one to save the world with EVs ??.

Then they all jump into the least efficient EV ever made to drive off into the sunset. I mean, the jokes write themselves.
