Gen 2 R1S DM Front License Plate Mount

Hey everyone - apologies as I know this topic has been discussed much in the past, however I can’t find much about the Gen 2 front license plate (given Rivian removed the tow hooks on the DM in lieu of a screw in tow hook).

I just took delivery on my R1S DM (Gen 2) and was researching front plates. I don’t like the look of the SnapPlate and the other option from BrainExp won’t work as there is not a tow bar to hook on to anymore.

all that to say, I’d love to find a screw in tow hook solution for a front plate mount (I have one from EOS for my X5 and love the way it looks/sturdiness).

I havnt been able to find a manufacturer who is making one for the R1S and it seems like each car company uses a different size screw in tow bar to make matters more difficult (why is this not standardized?!)

anyone happen to know the screw in tow hook size OR someone who is manufacturing a screw in tow hook mount? Appreciate the help!

Measure the tow hook? They didn't ship those with Gen 1 so the vast majority of people have no idea.

Did you manage to find a solution. I’m with you about the snap plate not being ideal and with the hooks gone, a screw in one is the goal.

I just ordered the R1S and would like to get the plate mount ordered before pickup.
