Me: Gen1 R1S w/ 21's, wants to install the new 22" Range wheels.
Rivian Customer Service via chat: "Sure! How about June 20th?"
Me: "Any time sooner? planning a road trip."
Rivian Customer Service via phone: "Heyyyy so I talked to your service center and they said they cannot install the 22" Range wheels on your Gen1 R1S. The bolt pattern is slightly different, so they are not able to install them."

wat.

CS rep acknowledged the Gear Shop page currently says they are Gen1 compatible and they're working to change that verbiage on the site.

Does anybody have actual evidence that they're not cross-compatible? Is this another "not currently compatible" thing between the Gen1's and Gen2's with little substance?

EDIT: They changed their minds after 24 hours and called back to say they'll install 'em! Go figure.

AS an 'easier' path forward for 'aero' wheels (non OEM Rivian), I know Atomic Wheels is making a variation (they're active and have some posts on the forum). Probably easier on the wallet, too.
