GM plans to remove Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from EVs.

All those hundreds of millions of $$ to build the "industry leading" Ultify platform and when the dust finally settles it is nothing more than an implementation of Google's Android Automotive OS. (GM being GM, on the latest Tahoe it is a three-generation old AAOS but I am sure the "real" Ultifi will be at least v 12.)

My Ram has its own built-in Nav and also Car Play/AA. They can still get their data if they wanted it. What they will not get from me is the subscription service for traffic when the 5 years is up.
