No idea. I'm getting those cargo tie downs for my dog's car crate, and then throwing the grocery bags in the back seat or into her crate if she's not with me. Usually, this means a few dozen round produce items rolling around in the car for a bit, unfortunately. Are there any ideas floating around yet for hook solutions in the cargo area? Haven't really seen anything yet.
I have one of these in the back of both my SUV's. They're great for grocery bags and other things that can roll around. No idea. There's a video of it right there on Amazon...does it collapse into practically nothing when not in use?
I can't believe we're at the RTFM for Amazon listings......There's a video of it right there on Amazon...

Honestly, I haven't found the need to strap it down. If you put it straight down on the carpet, the velcro strips on the bottom are actually enough to keep the thing steady. Once you start loading it up, the added weight makes it even steadier. In one of my cars it's on a cargo mat and it still doesn't move around. Now, if you take sharp corners at 60mph, then yea, straps might helpnow to find a way to strap it in..
I have all-weather cargo mats in our vehicles, and I use a collapsible crate (similar to the one linked earlier in here). Even without the benefit of Velcro, given the rubberized nature of an all-weather mat, I don't have any issues with it sliding around or tipping over once there's some weight in it.Honestly, I haven't found the need to strap it down. there's another thread where someone posted the preorder of Liner X cargo trays; they look decent. my order window is Dec - Feb so it's too early for me to order one nowI have all-weather cargo mats in our vehicles, and I use a collapsible crate (similar to the one linked earlier in here). Speaking of carpet/Velcro, I couldn't imagine leaving the cargo area's carpeted floor exposed or putting another carpeted mat on top. Spills happen, dirt happens, funky kid stuff happens -- at least with an all-weather mat, you can just pull it out and rinse it off with a hose.
