Handsfree way to open trunk?

Scenario: walking towards truck with both hands holding grocery bags. How do I open trunk without using my hands?

I would love to say Alexa, open trunk but that will only work when I am inside the truck (which while useful is not as useful being able to use it outside the truck)

Any other options? I know I can open through the app but that is not handsfree...

Have an Apple Watch? Set up a shortcut and use Siri to run said shortcut. I can’t say its great as you need to move your wrist within range of your face, but it works.

I can pretty easily hit the gate release button with my elbow, no free hand needed

ps, wish Alexa could set the drive modes...ask her for Sport would be somewhat close to asking Kitt for Turbo Boost

I use my arm to open the door and then tell Alexa to open the hood or drop the tailgate. Not perfect but it works.

If Siri will respond while in your pocket then you can use shortcuts on iOS to open it.

Trunk or frunk? The release button for the frunk is just inside the trim by the front camera, and you can hit it with a finger while holding bags. I do it all the time.

It would be cool if Alexa on your phone could connect the dots and open the trunk/tailgate - doesnt look like alexa on your phone is in sync with alexa on the rivian
