I have had 2 rotations at discount tire in Gilbert at the San Tan Marketplace. They were awesome, no issues, and loved the Rivian. They were so nice I went out and got them some Bosa Donuts for their great, complimentary service!

Hello Discount tire,

Today I went to one of your DT locations to get my Rivian R1T tire to get patched up from a nail.
The location is in Cypress 5051 E. Lincoln Suite A Cypress, CA 90630. I was told in the location upon arrival they did not have pucks but have an adapter to complete the job. Since it was my first the at DT and was told that they were authorized by Rivian. I trusted them. Unfortunately, after they completed the job I found damage to the underbody plastic panel from the workers jacking up the truck. Please let me know what you guys can do to help with compensation.

@Discount Tire - Have anyone made any progress on allowing the 115 rated tire to be installed on the later models?

I ask because your site regarding the 115 tire is REALLY confusing, as per your own site, it should be allowed.

#Discount Tire - Any word yet on the 115 vs 116 load ratings for Rivian?
Since Rivian recommends a lower pressure than the max that just means people with 115 tires would need to add 1.5 psi to get the same rating, right? Or they could remove 300# from the max load if they don't want to bump the PSI up.

Shouldn't be an issue. If I understand DCE's stance on this, if the OE jack points are not accessible, the RCE frame placement under the vehicle can be used as a jack point as well.

I have the Megawatt sliders that replicate the rear jack point on the slider rail just like the DCE sliders. My local shop in SoCal wouldn’t work on my truck with the rear Rivian pointcovered. I showed them how their puck snapped into the slider rail and showed them your sponsorship here and almost got an approval. Any chance you could chime in here?

Here’s a couple images from RiviaNV showing the @electruck4x4 Megawatt sliders and jack puck attachments. Maybe Brenton could also link something on his site showing the jack point procedure (they wanted more than the one FAQ mentioning the jack point).

@Discount Tire thanks for your reply! It was at CAS33 in Huntington Beach, CA off of Springdale Ave. I’ve used them before and was working with Mark M., who was super nice about everything. He seemed technically/practically convinced that lifting via the slider rail jack point was safe, but they wanted some outside guidance.

What area are you in? In San Diego county Discount Tire is the real Discount Tire.

The vast majority of products of product that Discount Tire Direct carried, are available through Tire Rack. The only product that will not be available is some of the Discount Tire Direct exclusive products. Those will still be available now through our Discount Tire brick and mortar locations.
