Any suggestions on how to remove the top cover?
The plastic peice on top is just adhered on by heavy duty double sided tape. But the track is a channel so even removing that wont gain better access.

You need to find a socket that fits very tight where the gasket is in place. Then lube up the part where the gasket needs to be re inserted. Then roll the socket with the wrench to press the gasket back into place by forcing it down.

Rivian Service Center just replaced the bed trim cover on the left-hand side of my bed while under warranty. The cover is held down both by foam with adhesive tape and very small metal clips that pull out of the plastic cover trim. That trim panel is one time use only. If you attempt to remove it, you will need to replace it with a new trim panel. The small metal clips are not reusable, unlike the plastic clips that you find behind door panels, the cowling panel, and in other locations on Rivians and most other cars.

Removing the cover won't help, gotta shove it back in. Recommend a credit card, lube, and anything that's pointy
