Horn sounds so weak

I'm going to test this...
On two occasions I've tried to 'indicate' to a person stopped in front of me, and looking at their phone, that they should take a look and move it... As one does...
Very deflating to have that important function being removed from daily commute.
I had the horn assessed during a service appointment, it was deemed within spec. Though tech initially told me I had 2 horns, which I showed him wasn't possible (actual audio checks here, I now realize).
I asked that it be escalated as a safety issue, because I HAVE saved parking lot and lane-change mishaps over the years with this important tool.
Don't start with this "what do you need a horn for anyways" crap.
If rivian won't replace it on warranty, then I'll replace it eventually, begrudgingly.
But, the truck is so good in so many ways... I'll give them this one.

I agree with this 100%. I think there should be a campaign to replace the horns. It really is a safety issue. Yes I know I could replace the horn with an aftermarket horn but that may void some warranty in the future and not everyone wants to take that risk.

Does this warrant a submission to NHTSA for them to look into this?
