How to limit mobilecharger for lower current circuits before plugging in?

I'm on a road trip charging at a friends house with a 30amp @ 240V circuit. The mobile charger starts up no problem but it pretty much trips the breaker instantly. I wonder, is there a way I can PREconfigure (before plugging in) the car or charger to tell it to limit the current to 25amps (or whatever)?

Ah- only on the car itself, i see that now! I could swear h saw something in my app for a sec while I was actually charging but I couldn’t find it while idle. Thx!!
