If you watch the video with sound on, at 0:31 in the video he calmly says, ”I want to go and jump the Hummer. I want to break the Hummer on the first day. That would be a good video.” This certainly validates option 1.Two ways to look at it.
1) entitled douchebag wrecks a $200k car for views
2) over-excited dude trying to have fun with his new toy picks the wrong road but has a good attitude even after an obviously devastating loss
While both have some validity, which one you pick says more about you than the guy in the video.
He wasn’t over-excited, he picked the right road for his stated purpose, and given his stated goals, I doubt he’s devastated at all since he accomplished exactly what he wanted. That kind of eliminates option 2 as a possibility.
In case anyone missed it the first time at 0:31, he quoted himself at 7:35, “I want to go and jump the Hummer. I want to break the Hummer on the first day.”
So it sure seems like 1 is the only option and it says nothing about us as viewers other than we’re paying attention.
