I just went on a 7 day trip and it wasn't until the last day that it showed that it had dropped 1%.

I have a Gen 2 if that matters.

As far as service, they opened a new service center near me. 3.8 miles away. I can put my bike in the car and ride back home

I couldn’t care less about vampire drain. I wouldn’t want to drive something so slow with that poor handling. If I was going to do that I’d just go back to ICE and have no concern for any EV drawbacks.

The thing I like best about an EV is the fact that it’s fast AF and has excellent throttle response. Dialing that down to ICE levels in the Silverado means there’s no benefit to me over an ICE with the same EV drawbacks.

We took a trip to middle of nowhere WI and rented a Grand Wagoneer, that has 500 miles of range full as well, but resets in under 5 min. I wouldn’t own it because Stellantis, but I would sooner get a Tahoe before I got a Silverado EV.
