Idling humming/ buzing

Is this "idling" humm/buzz expected and normal? Pardon my ignorance, first EV, I heard they were supposed to be quiet when just sitting there.

Normal. It’s still a machine. There is coolant and coolant pump to circulate it. The HVAC isn’t silent either.

I had the same thing happened to me, I then called it in to support but they didn’t seem to think it was a big deal. I wish it were described in a FAQ or manual.

EVs are not dead silent. It’s a myth. Aside from drivetrain and source of energy, electrons vs combustible fluid, many components and sub-systems are the same. Like: AC is still AC. Cooling systems are the same. Etc.. Almost all of these noises you would hear just the same in a ICE car, if you had means to mask out only engine noise.
