Good luck with your R1S when you get it! I expect you will love your Rivian as I do. They will need time to develop their software and EV infrastructure to rival Tesla. Also, traveling requires much more planning to ensure EV charging options, unlike Tesla. This being said, it is a solid-built car, and the ride is comfortable. They have a good product built with a similar think-EV-from-the-ground-up philosophy to Tesla, so I expect that they will be flying high in a few years once they mature as a company.
Agree! The only concern I’ve had is the non supercharger access but with that changing in the next year I feel OK about it. I’m excited to see how they develop this vehicle and the changes they bring out via OTA. We love that it fits our lifestyle with two kiddos playing soccer volleyball and our dog! Reminds us of an EV version of our Land Rover LR4 which we LOVE! The R1S is the EV version of that beast :)

With Tesla's EV infrastructure (including superchargers) coming to Rivian in 2024, I suspect that won't be the case for much longer, regardless of Rivian's efforts to grow its chargers network.
