Insight on wristband key availability / production

Wristbands are available at many service centers for $100, they asked me to come and buy. I am still thinking if I really need to get one.

Really? I’ll have to call Rivian SC and ask. I want one just to have it lol.

Has anyone without a LE able to get Rivian to configure/add a wrist band?

I bought one on eBay awhile back and took it to the SC when I picked up my new R1T (non-LE) 2 weeks ago and requested they pair it... nope. They said the bands only supported on LE models... oh well. maybe in the future.

I’ve 100% seen non LE get the band paired. You can try contacting CS, I think that’s what someone recommended in this thread.

I got one from Ebay, someone from Normal IL was the seller.. guess they fell off a truck
No issues having Rivian add it to my account.. it was all done over the phone in less than 10min.

Keep checking Ebay from time to time..

I’ve seen them go from $80 like @NY_Rob posted all the way up to like $200. I think $200 is absurd but what do I know lol.

Maybe try a WTB post in the classified section?

The Wristband in theory sounds great, but it's super limited in range and you have to touch it perfectly to the correct spot on the door handle in order for it to work. If you're off by a 1/2" in any direction it will not work. The inside the vehicle sensor is extremely difficult to find. I ended up putting a self-stick florescent 1/2" Avery dot over the sensor position because it was taking too long to find the exact position needed to start my R1T on a busy boat ramp.
