iPhone Lock Screen Widget

It’s been like this for a few weeks now and I’ve been trying to adjust the setting on my phone (resets/reinstalling app etc) but just can’t figure it out. Any idea why the widget shows up blank all the time?

My first thought is to go to Settings-> Apps -> Rivian -> Live Activities and make sure those are on. I will guess More Frequent Updates is turned off

Remove it. Then set it up again like you did the very first time. Common problem for all iOS developers. Things change on Apple's side too often and every single time there is potential of breaking things. Must drive app developers insane.

Now is a specially complicated time since Apple is increasing the requirements for safe concurrency checking in apps. We’ll have less crashes as users. Developers get a ton of compiler warnings under strict concurrency checking and it can be difficult to tell if your code is the problem or the Apple framework hasn’t been fully updated. My hobby app finally compiled with the latest Xcode beta under Swift 6 concurrency checking without warnings. (I’m the only user for my app. It’s not on the App Store.) None of my code changed, it was just Apple updating their frameworks that I’m using.

There’s a new Rivian mobile app just released. Install it and see if this fixes your problem.

For OP, it looks like the Live Activities isn’t updating for some reason. I suppose your vehicle isn’t in a Faraday cage.

App version 3.10.0 was working for me. My phone is on the latest iOS 26.5 beta

I'm trying to figure out if your vehicle updates a server at Rivian which then updates your phone
app.

So make sure the Rivian app in your phone's Settings also allows Notifications
Settings-> Apps -> Rivian -> Notifications.

Most likely a problem with the push notifications somewhere from Rivian's push notification server and your phone's processing of the push notification. Assuming I understand the broad picture of how Live Activities works
