Is the steel bed side accessible for PDR tool access?

Hello all. I was loading up some purchases from Costco last month during a downpour. I decided to try and lift a heavy box over the bed side and the corner accidentally hit the bed and caused a minor indentation in the bed side sheet metal.

A PDR technician claims there is no bed access for his hand tools to work out the minor dent.

Can anyone confirm this? I find it hard to believe but the guy has years of experience in the trade.

I had PDR done on that panel, multiple dents. Options to access would be to either remove the panels in the wheel well or the panels in the bed. Find different PDR specialist, I am sure if you search the other PDR threads you might find someone with experience getting PDR in So Cal.

There is absolutely access. Find someone else. I'll be doing a relatively large PDR fix this coming Thursday on my drivers side rear quarter panel (5" x 12"). Glue pull with inside push with bumper cover off. Someone bumped at a hotel and didn't leave a note.....

That‘s what I thought. I’m going to try using another PDR guy that has more experience with Rivian R1T’s.

There is access back there. Just take off the side bed panel. Find a new pdr guy.
