I'm building a configuration for an R1T with all-terrain upgrade and 20" AT tires.

The configurator is estimating the range to be 324 but I thought it was in the high 200's.

Is this a mistake in the configurator or is it accurate?

Thanks for any insight.

Does it change to that number when you go from dual to quad? Seems like an error but as a quad owner I hope it's true! That's a 2.4mi/kwh efficiency (including the locked battery capacity) which I've gotten on long drives but I'm usually closer to 2.1 at 65-70mph.

No, you've done something wrong. That's what it shows before you pick the wheels (actually it shows me 328, not 324). When you choose the offroad package that number drops to 274. These are, of course, just EPA estimates. You mileage will vary.

But in reality, R1T/Large/Offroad will give you about 290 in All-purpose and 315 in Conserve. At least, that's what I get, and others have reported similar numbers. Rivian has done some tuning since the EPA numbers were run - ranges are a little better now.

I think it's a glitch in the configurator because it remains after I chose my tires AND have included the all-terrain upgrade.

My R1S/Large/AT gets the same range as your R1T is sounds like and that is probably what I should expect but definitely something they should look into.

That's correct.

When I go into the visualizer and select all terrier it drops to 274. I think that is what you can expect.
