So received my LE El Cap R1T today! Overall the fit and finish was good although both driver side and passenger side doors need some adjustments. Took it out for an initial drive and played with the various drive modes. All in all, a good day 1 experience.

Had a November 2020 pre-order and was on the June/July delivery email. From guide content (around 5/18) to delivery on 6/8.

I'm waiting on step 8 for mine. I think I'll make the June-July delivery window.

I had my 1st mile drive last weekend. The truck was LA Silver with Black Mountain interior and 20" wheels, just like my configuration. Very happy with that choice.

I did see 2 R1S people with earlier windows reporting a move to August/September.

For the October/December window there is good news and bad news.

Good news, it is 4th qtr so they will be pushing out as many units as they can to make the yearly number.

Me too. Sorry if I wasn't clear. The "us" I was referring to was those of us (edit: R1S folk) with a previous June/July window since this is a June/July thread.

My R1T is in general assy and has a VIN assigned (and has for a month so far), but is now expected to deliver in August-Sept. I feel like my configuration is pretty standard so I don't know what is going on anymore.

If you have a Vin assigned u should be close. My vehicle is made and “gated” in Normal. Crossing fingers is gets delivered in 2 weeks. Are the 8 steps open for you? If so I would think u are very close

No 8 steps yet. There was a snaffu last week where my guide thought that my R1T had completed production and told me that the 8 steps should open shortly for me. It turned out to be a "glitch in the system" and my vehicle is still in assy. My guess is that QC caught something at the very end.
