Large+ appears on Rivian Roamer site

This morning I noticed a 2025 Large+ pack showing on rivianroamer.com. When I clicked through to Rivian.com it was listed merely as a Large.

You’ll recall that Large+ is a software limited Max pack that theoretically allows you to charge to 100% because the margin between Large and Max is constantly being held in reserve.

The Large+ cost $7000 and had a range of 292 on AT tires.

Fair question but in my opinion the more relevant question is how does it fast charge. If you can charge the large+ to 95% in the same time it takes the max pack to charge to 75%. That would make it a great road tripper.

Yes.

Is it based on VIN or something? How do you tell for sure?

It's in the Rivian Shop API. Large+ has it's own battery code (BAT-LP01). Rivian Roamer surfaces these as their own to help customers make their own decisions.

BAT-B01 = Large
BAT-LP01 = Large+
BAT-A01 = Max

Maybe we'll see a MP01?
