Hey, so we are planning a long weekend to Moab later this month. Just curious if anyone has suggestions on what trails are cool for a regular drive, putting it in off road and exploring, photography etc. Not looking for demanding trails, just something off the beaten path. The map I have says 33” tires for many of them. Mine are 32.8”. Obviously we will go into the national parks but maybe some other drives outside that. Thanks. Troy

I would either find some LT or range D or E to put on 22’s or find a set of 20’s with the stock ATs.

The stock 22 tires could blow with just a simple jagged rock or something if your not familiar with the trails. The stick 22’ tires are designed to be light to improve range , not go off road IMO. The downfall is the sidewalls are thin and puncture easily. That being said I have gone off road on some not so easy trails with a Range Rover that had 23” perelli scorpions that are specd on the rivian as well and it felt like the tires were going to blow every minute I was off road. They held up tho but don't think I’ll risk it again and felt I got lucky. At least bring a spare.

Not talking down to you or trying to sound harsh - just don’t want you to get stranded with family. Sounds like fun tho and be safe.

Sorry. That is my mistake. I have Continental Terrain Contact HT on. Granted they are not AT but unfortunately that is what I have

EDIT: Sorry, I posted a long response but realized you asked what Moab trails to hit with your tires. Not what your tires can/can't handle on those trails. I'm not familiar with Moab trails. Sorry.

I recommend looping Long Canyon and Shafer Trail, maybe spending some time at Dead Horse while up top. Also Onion Creek. Great scenery and fun easy 4WD driving.

Check conditions first. Shafer can get damaged from big rains, and the park service may need time to get it re-graded.
