There's nothing major here compared to other members who've done thousands of miles while road-tripping, but I just made my first trip on the R1T (from DFW, TX, to Austin), and I'm impressed.
I started my day with a 100% SoC battery. I had to drive my wife to the Dallas Tesla SC to pick up her Model 3 from service and then to Dallas Lovefield to pick up one of my friends and co-workers who joined me on the drive. By the time we left Lovefield airport, I had ~89% SoC.
Being my first out-of-town trip, I chose to be conservative and drive in Conserve mode and at 'normal' speeds, not Texans' speeds
(IYKYK). That means that I locked the Cruise Control at 75mph and I only twice exceeded that speed when passing a few cars/trucks, but basically 75mph all the way. My plan was to never exceed 200mi without charging just to make sure I was in good shape regarding range. Starting my drive from DAL to Austin at 89%, I was planning to stop at Buc'ees in Temple for a quick charge-up and continue my trip.
Without making this thread too long, I arrived at Austin with 28% SoC without having to charge on my way. I was just astonished by the efficiency.
