My VIN assigned car was damaged before delivery

Not to bring up an old post, but I wanted to see the frequency that this happens...I just got the same exact unfortunate news today. And, as of now in the R1 shop, no matches to what I want. The guide is going to try and work some magic... I AM definitely happy with the transparency. Just hope they can match me with another of the same exact match.

Everything was set. Financing, insurance, trade in, etc. I hope my finance doesn't expire before they can get me a new one.

This same thing just happened to me. Was set to take delivery on Saturday, and apparently my R1T VIN is no longer available.

Issue is — they already have my money, and a check from the bank is coming. Not sure what this means, but we shall see.

Ouch...sorry to hear that, man. I wish you the best, please keep me updated if you do not mind. I am getting a call from the guide in the morning to see if she can work some magic for me.

Mine was the R1T, El Cap, DM, 22" black wheels...No others I see available in that configuration.

It has happened to a couple in the past, they will get it sorted out.

My original vin was undeliverable as well, they were able to find the same configuration for me but I decided to change from ElCap Bright 22s to LG Dark 22s.

Ended up doing a factory pickup, the whole thing delayed my delivery by about 10 days.
