Hopefully with the IIHS seemingly setting their sights on rear seat occupant safety as their next push, more manufacturers will start installing pre tensioners and load limiters on second and third row seatbelts. I remember sending e-mails to Rivian in early 2019 asking them to emulate Volvo, Bentley and Land Rover (in the new Defender) for that – too bad they didn’t.
