Odd plastic deformation in charge port door

To preface, this is not a problem per se, but I did notice some strange-looking plastics on the inside of my charge port door. It looks like melted plastic that perhaps wasn’t set when it was ejected from a mold. Anyone else notice this?

I would guess this is more of a plastic weld / heat staking assembly artifact and not an issue coming out of the mold.

Exactly what it is - albeit rather sloppy looking.
