Ordering from R1 shop void contract?

I signed the binding contract last year to preserve the 7500 federal rebate. If I get a car from the R1 shop, can I still ammend my taxes once I purchase from R1 shop?

Yes you can, as long as you have the signed contract that Rivian provided prior to August 16th.

@Renzuko @Ready4Rivian @Dark-Fx I am in similar situation where I have signed binding contract in August 2022 and I recently locked my config, sales rep contacted me about available inventory with similar config. If I buy from R1 shop Will it void my contract? Were you able to get tax credit? Did they ask you cancel existing reservation when you got it from R1 shop?

I picked mine up from the shop and received my credit. You are fulfilling your order from existing inventory and not canceling the order.
