Ordering Spare Parts

I've seen a few people post that they've ordered minor spare parts through Rivian. One individual posted about ordering the 21" center caps. I'm probably going to powder coat mine and would like to order a set. I've also managed to chunk the hitch cover, which a simple plastic piece and I don't really care about it being on or off since I'm towing - but, hey, it's brand new and I cringed when I saw it and want another one. I've written my guide about how to order these things and am awaiting a response. Just wondering if any of you have ordered and received parts. Since we have a service center in SLC, I'm sure I could pick them up there after order, but I haven't been by to see the SC yet. Maybe I can just walk in?? I've read different stories about people attempting to do this - some being open/receptive, others not accessible. Any experience/advice would be appreciated.

If you can get a direct contact at the service center, then you’re able to order a lot of these parts that Guides are saying aren’t available. I got the manager’s number at the closest SC to me and after 2 voicemails, an associate at the SC called me back today. She is gettting me pricing on the 22” wheels and is getting the invoice together for the black center caps. I also am in the process of of powder coating the 21” wheels, so I want the black OEM center caps.

Lots of people are trying to order a spare tire. At least that’s what my guide says. She also said the spare tire is supposed to be offered through the Gear Store at some point but she didn’t have a date.

I was able to order an extra rear tow hitch cover a couple months back. Just put in a ticket and it got routed to my service center. I had put in the part number since it came directly off my current hitch cover. I also explained this wasn't a warranty request but a parts purchase request where I was fully planning on paying for it. Service center called me and confirmed the request and part and had the part within a week. In that time my truck was at the SC for a different issue so they just put the part in the back seat when they brought it back to my house.

This is good to know that the SCs are able to get parts that my guide said weren't available for order ahead of time.

Just got same response from my guide. I'm gonna try to swing by the SC here to order the hitch cover and hub covers. If I can talk to someone, I'll see what they say about spares. Talked to my local "go to" wheel shop about a powder coat and they said they'd have to specially drill the lug config on 21"s - about $700 to make a spare!! WTF was Rivian thinking with the 21"s config? Very frustrating. Because of this, my shop would have to put the truck on a lift at their warehouse while the powder coat was being done, which would add a couple of days to the job.
