Original crossbar price

Hey all.. thought I'd share with you that I was able to get the original $450 (before tax) crossbar price after reaching out to my Guide. We put our R1S deposit back in November of 2021 before the price hike. After emailing my Guide, they told me to order the crossbars online ($650) then asked for my receipt. They are supposedly giving me a check for the price difference in about 4 weeks. I'll follow up once I get the refund. Hope this post helps with anyone who's considering getting the crossbars and had their reservation before the price hike.

I received the same script from my guide, but I have not seen a check and it has been a month.

This is known. But process for reimbursement is dysfunctional and lengthy. Have not read a single report of anyone receiving their checks.

I'm not saying you won't receive it soon, but I'm at 10 weeks waiting on a check for a refund of a portion of the cost of my floor mats.

Of course, and he's "on it," in a guide sort of way. And while the problem may be with AP, I suspect he didn't dot some "i" or cross some "t" in the official process.

Guides can submit requests for reimbursement. Beyond that it’s out of their hands and in hands of the internal finance folks. All guides can tell you that it’s submitted. They don’t have visibility beyond that.

Been watching that listing. Fishy how a private individual has that much stock than the only official retailer. Curious how he came into possession of inventory.
