Pedal pressure (regen / auto brake) for reverse

I am finding the pedal pressure to release into reverse motion to be too much and then hard to maintain at very slow reverse speeds. Any tips?

Me too. I have a sloping driveway with some bumps at the end and I still haven’t mastered it yet. Too much power for reverse but a slight release in pressure stops the truck.

Early in my ownership I had a fright in a parking lot where I hit reverse too much. Well… inertia is a b*tch.. the truck went backwards, I stayed put. My inertia pushed the accelerator even more! It scared me because it really started moving.

Oddly and counterintuitively, it’s easier to back up my boat with the way it’s set. I thought it was going to be very hard since I can’t back out of my driveway smoothly.

That is it exactly. A "Garage Mode" that temporarily disabled or greatly reduced regen/auto braking at super near stop speeds would be great. Any speed above 5 mph could activate a return to previous regen setting.

They should just let the pedal fully travel and only provide a certain amount of power at 100% depressed. Let's say 25% when it's fully depressed, or change the ramp curve so the first half of the pedal travel is less sensitive, just like conserve mode does. This isn't Gone In 60 Seconds, we don't need a reverse 0-60 in 3 seconds.
