Pre Roamed R1S

I recently purchased a pre roamed 2023 R1S launch edition from a dealership who took it on trade in the Houston area. I noticed that the previous owner had the entire front done in PPF which is great but I also suspect that all of the paint has been ceramic coated. I'd like to find out what shop did the work but the dealership I bought it from does not know. Is there a way that I can find out?

Do you know if it was traded in locally and not bought at auction ? It maybe unlikely to find the shop, you could call Rivian with your vin and ask if they installed the PPF as part of the OG config

Rivian might tell you if it's factory PPF if you reach out to them. No way to determine ceramic coating details unless you can get the previous owner's information and contact them directly.

It was traded in locally. I believe the Sales Manager knows the previous owner personally and I've reached out to him to ask but no word back yet.

How do you like your R1S?

Sometimes the company that does it will enter it in a database that feeds into a Carfax report. One of my Model S's they did that and it showed up in Carfax.

I use AutoCheck. Sometimes I will use both AutoCheck and CarFax.
