In my R1 Shop I have many options for pre price hike R1Ts & it is almost overwhelming so would appreciate other's thoughts. Basically all the options I am looking at are within $1-$3K. The options I am considering are:

1. Quad Launch Edition with upgraded 22 inch wheels - various colours to select from
2. Quad Adventure Package with standard 21 inch wheels & base Silver color
3. Performance Dual Motor Adventure package with standard 21 inch wheels & base Silver color

I was able to confirm that all the Launch Edition in my shop were built in early 2023 for my region (I believe they have the Meridian sound system). My Guide says they cannot tell if the build date / model year of the others in my Shop are 2023 or 2024 until I accept one. Assuming the Quad Adventure is still a 2023 and there is a chance the Performance Dual could be a 2024, which would you select?

Build year doesn’t matter. Never buy cars based on speculations on resale value. What matters on resale is condition, market demand (unpredictable), originality (unmodified) and accident history (above all else). Wheel size options, there are countless threads & posts about pros and cons of each. Even putting your personal needs/wants against descriptions of each published at rivian.com, you should be able to determine which is best for you (as apposed to polling strangers who would just try to get you to see things their way). Pre-hike quad is a “bargain”. But if you really need the range increase…
