Yup. That battery is around 2,000lbs of heavy metal thermal mass. Battery temperature changes pretty slowly in relation to ambient temperature.One of the biggest misunderstandings I find when it comes to winter range isn't ambient temperature but BATTERY temperature. My Rivians live in a heated garage (45-50F) so even when its -F the range hit is minimized since the battery appears to hold that temperature without much additional effort, especially on highway trips.
Starting with a cold soaked pack, however, is a much different story.
