R1S Delivery

Shop access opened up and I had picked R1S LE on 3/20. Guide confirmed on 3/21 that vehicle is at the service center that I can go for financing etc. and I completed the 8 steps by 3/27. End of last week guide tells me it was an error car is still finishing up production in Normal and should go out in few weeks. Wall charger has been delivered as well.

third party lender cut the check on 3/21 and it has been delivered to Rivian. First Payment starts 5/5. No information yet from Rivian if I will get the vehicle before end of April.

It’s a bit frustrating to see that I might be in a situation where I don’t have the car yet and already having to make a payment? What can I do?

Probably not much unless your bank is willing to give you a break on that first payment. As far as they are concerned Rivian got paid and now you get to start paying them back.
