i would hope but can you imagine all the testing that would need to be done in regards to how it impacts rangeI keep hoping rivian will offer electric running boards.
Thanks. I wanted to go with evsportline one but noticed many people complaining about rust. Though they are giving replacements but I don't want to go through reinstalling. Also they are backorder. You might want to check out the Stainless Steel version from RealWheelsEV. Here's the forum thread for them. They look like a great option, but not a lot of reviews yet.

I am going with realwheels one. Atleast there won't be rust issue.

Installation took 3.5 hours. Instructions and video is superhelpfull. I could have done this under 2 hours, if I had impact wrench. It is very hard to work with tp55 without that. Even though I got torx bits , but manually it was very hard to do it. Also I saw it getting free at one point. Do anyone who wants to do it make sure you have all tools. FYI, I am not a DIY person. If I can do it, anybody can do it. Cutting panel was easy. Taking panel out first time was very hard. You need to make sure flat head driver is not only long but head is wide enough. In some panels it was hard to put back, but was not that as big.
For folks in Seattle, I was able to find some shops who were ready to do this for 500-800 bucks (diff shops).
PicsThanks for the write-up.
Can you share pictures from above and below when you get a chance?
