I have the 22s. I think the ride is about the movement and porposing. I am a slow mellow driver but once in a while, when it is very safe, I like to feel the 835 horse power and that is a little tough on me.

This might be personal preference, but I prefer the firmness of the Rivian seats on long trips, yea I adjust a little, but I don’t feel as tired or as sore when getting somewhere after a few hours compared to our model y with much softer seats.

I, personally, find the Rivian seats to be too firm, and by a lot. I’ve never sat in a car with seats as firm as these in the Rivian, besides racing buckets. It makes it feel cheap IMO.

I am 6'2" and 270lbs... Although I dont own a Rivian yet... This is actually the one hang up I am having about buying a Rivian. I think the seats are not great.. Just OK. I find them unsupportive, and not nearly wide enough for proper leg alignment into the bolsters of the lower portion of the seat.

I will add that I borrowed a 2022 Lincoln Aviator Black Label, and it has the same problem, and the Rivian seats are better.. but just barely.

I am only 5' 7", But I do drive 2-3 hours trips almost daily, I must say that I am very disappointed, I do Have low Back Pain, But I don't think it's the seat, I think it's the suspension and the way it pushes your body on a turn that creates the problem, I had a Kia Telluride before and I got a much smoother drive, which is not what I expected and hoped for, I really hope that there will be a fix to it.
