Hi everyone,
I'm trying to get my R1T cellular service restored here in Europe and get local maps downloaded so I can have access to all kinds of features I'd love to have restored, such as navigation, listening to the radio, using Spotify on the center screen, and using Alexa.
customer support informed me the R1T apparently is designed to sever the connection to a WiFi hotspot (ie a phone) as soon as it's no longer in Park, so without cellular service, the truck is not connected while driving.
I don't know how this works; some questions that came to mind:
Thanks Rivian Forum contributors - your help is very much appreciated!

- How do I figure out my trucks esim number?
- How could I change the truck's esim profile so it can register on a European 4G or 5G cellular network?
- How could I download maps - either through Wifi (which works when parked) or cellular once the cellular service is restored?
