Cars in the competition where 3 Rivians 2 Hummers and 2 Teslas

.. the Teslas were a Model Y Performance with a lift kit and off road tires and the other car was a Model 3 Performance with huge spacers and off-road tires.

That is no the top, not even half the hill , in the hill climb event they open the middle part of the hill for race events only which is triple the hight of the side part that you saw in the video above , and not the rivian didn’t reach the top it barely reached halfway, btw till this date no stock car of any sort has climbed the big part of the hill only fully modified offroaders can, and this event is happening every December since 2001, and yes the are alot of females with modified offroader going up and down the hill

Not my vehicle. I saw this on YouTube earlier today, and it’s pretty amazing how effortless it made it look!

Having taken that dune myself, with a professional driver in a Land Cruiser, I am truly impressed by the R1T.

You're my hero~~ Haha, so true. As a life long Glamis duner (late 70's), this isn't easy and it seemed to actually accelerate all 7000lbs up that dune~ !

Ha! That was pretty cool! I watched way more of that video than I originally thought when I saw how long it was. Very impressive stuff! Especially those modded dune climbers at the end.

Also loved that the second R1T owner gave zero F’s and floored it to get the EV high mark! Gonna spend a bit of money putting that rear bumper back on but I bet he had a blast!
