R1T to R1S switch - how will it affect delivery timeline?

Hey all - as if changing my R1T configuration 10000 times so far isn't enough, I stopped by the Denver SC today and saw a few R1S in real life and absolutely love it. Currently my delivery timeline is Nov/Dec for the R1T. Does anyone have any idea how switching to the R1S would affect my delivery timeline?

Not sure if anyone has done this already with an August/Sep/Oct window but I would hate to make the switch and wait another year or so.

*I did chat in to the Rivian website to ask, but as you can imagine, I did not get an answer outside of "It would defer your delivery but I wouldn't be able to tell you by how much time. You should wait until you have a guide assigned to ask them"

I don’t think anyone will be able to tell you with any reasonable degree of certainty. FWIW I am a 9/21 R1S in Denver and received 1st half 2023 when they sent windows out last December. I’m hopeful that won’t be pushed out any, but very well could be.

I would assume that it would be about a five month delay. This is the difference between the start of real deliveries of the R1T (March) and the R1S (August).

I ordered a large R1T in Sep 2021, with a projected delivery of Dec 2022-Jan 2023, although I have since changed to a max pack, which has no current projection. I have noticed people with a similar order date as mine for a R1S were projected around 1st half 2023, results may vary.

I asked this on reddit a while back and general concensus was about a year delay from my delivery window of oct-dec 2022.
