Lol, Ironically, I was going to add that my backup plan was Launch Green and Crater. As a day 1 reservation holder with an R1S lease that won't be up until November, I'm hopeful to get into an R2 with a light interior before the end of the year. We'll see.

The dark color is not really black, more of a dark gray like the R1 is.

just got this response from Rivian Assistant on the website.

Since you already have an R2 reservation, you’re in a great spot—Rivian will begin inviting reservation holders to place their official orders soon. By the end of June, you’ll see your order window in your Rivian account, and order invites will start going out in batches. Once you receive your invite, you’ll be able to select your options—including the Gen 3 Autonomy package (Autonomy+)—and confirm your order.

And exactly what does that mean? Does that put one on the RAP1/LIDAR queue, sign you up for the $2500 autonomy software, or both?

I want RAP1/LIDAR, but primarily RAP1. I do not want to buy a $2500 autonomy software package that will not be functional for years to come. Am I SOL? And if so, once they fully switch over to RAP1, will everybody have to buy the $2500 software license?

Pretty sure that is Ocean Coast. I also saw that color swatch sample hanging on the wall, but the R2 interiors were displayed on a table.

Autonomy plus will be functional and co time to improve for years to come. RAP1 helps in several years time as they move to L4.

I assumed that Gen 3 package is the RAP1 With Lidar

Good news it's much more light grey than white. If it was white like Tesla seats I'd be out. Light grey is awesome to me.

Coastal cloud interior white or light grey to your eye?

I would call it bluish grey. Looked very nice.

Maybe. I think it’s just the warm lighting. Like most things it’ll look different depending on location, time of day, sunlight, etc

Wouldn't mind a hint of blue, actually - thinking of doing Xpel 55% tint on sunroof which has a slight gray-blue hue.
