R2 vs 1980s Golf MK1 size comparison

I know a lot of us are lookin forward to the R3X, so I suppose this is the closest I've gotten to being able to make a comparison to one of the era of vehicles that they are emulating. A friend of someone I know has one with a custom wide-body kit on it and he just happened to show up today.
