I have a Gen1 R1T. Over the last couple of updates, I've noticed that when I use the driving assistance on freeways, the car would do a random beep for literally 1/4-1/2 a second. The display doesn't change at all but it sounds like the start of the "danger" sound and not the "take over now" sound, if that makes sense. Anyone else experiencing this and had a fix?

Probably the lane-departure warning. It's *VERY* chatty. I turned off the audio prompts for it long ago, but one of the software updates turned them back on, so I had to turn them off again.

The silly thing is that there are times that lane centering is keeping me properly in my lane, but lane-departure-warning insists I'm not!

"My car, you're the one driving! Shouldn't you know if you're in the lane or not? And if you think you're not in the lane, shouldn't you be doing something about it, rather than complaining?"

(The two systems are completely separate systems, but it is funny when one disagrees with the other. Usually it happens when the lane markings are faded, and there is either even older more faded lane lines that don't line up with the correct ones, or a seam in the pavement that is catching the light in such a way that the departure-warning system thinks it's a lane-line.)

I've noticed the same, same sound like it's giving up the wheel and throttle, but it doesn't actually do so. I grab the wheel and put my foot on the pedal, but it just keeps cruising.

Yeah this, but not as bad as the Toyota crap I had in a loaner when the Rivian was being fixed. It actively steered me out of lanes AND blared at me constantly that I was leaving the lane.

I picked up a loaner and there were some really random beeps and nothing on the display, I'm 99% sure that it was the nav... If you open the sound settings there's an option for voice or chime. It was set to voice, but toggling it back and forth and making sure that it was all muted fixed the problem.

It definitely confused me for like 20 miles or so because it was so random, but actually was mapped to upcoming nav instructions.
