Is there an official site that keeps us up to date officially for the roadmap for OTA's?

The blue va green bubble saga continues…outside of the US and Canada no one really uses SMS or RCS. Work for an international company and we use what’s app and signal… Apple does need to support RCS to survive like it or not… Yes I know Rivian market is North America but if they want to move outside of this they really need to adapt to the local market… Would love and Audible app on the platform.

I finally gave up waiting for this. My work and friends often text me about critical changes in where I am going and so I installed EVPlay. I actually prefer the Rivian infotainment over CarPlay, but it not having any text message support at this point made it necessary. Installing EVPlay wasn't too hard, but for me anyway the cables seemed a bit shorter than what is shown in the install video and there isn't a lot of space even with the seat moved back to work in. I also wish there was a bit better method to mount the box, but I did adapt something with some zip tie anchors. EVPlay itself works pretty well and CarPlay gets the job done, but I would have preferred something fully integrated in the infotainment. My Tesla didn't have text support originally either, but by this point in its lifespan it had been added.
