I’ve been getting a lot of requests for a larger removable tray option instead of the sliding tray, so I’m prototyping a few designs and wanted community input before I lock anything in.
Important: all of these are designed to be compatible with the existing organizer for anyone who already purchased. No one gets left behind.
These are the current concepts:
• Top design: center nub integrated into the logo. You lift the entire tray by cradling the nub between your index and middle finger and pulling straight up. No extra handles, keeps the look clean.
• Right design: no pull feature at all. Completely open interior and maximum usable space, but you’d remove it by grabbing the edges.
• Bottom-left design: split tray with a divider and a diamond finger hole. The hole acts as a pull point to lift the tray out.
All three fit the console the same — this is purely a usability / preference question.
If you were choosing, which would you want in your Rivian and why?

- Clean look with hidden lift nub?
- Maximum space, no pull feature?
- Divider + finger hole for easy grab?
I’m trying to balance aesthetics, capacity, and real-world usability, so honest feedback is helpful. Appreciate any thoughts.
