Rivian App 2.8.0 available -- lock screen widget & more

I have the lock screen widget on my iPhone 10, but the SOC only updates when I go into the Rivian app. It was at 47% last night when I plugged her in and that's what the widget showed me this morning until I double-checked by opening the app, at which time it jumped up to 75%. Anyone else see that or is your widget updating in real time? It could be a function of my phone...

Same for me.

I also have a bug where both widgets stoped displaying updated info.
tried restarting phone but it didn’t help.

Mine updated, but don't see how to actually add the widget to the actual lock screen? When I go to Settings>Lock Screen and AOD>Widgets it's not listed to choose to put on the lock screen........thoughts?

My android app version got updated to 2.8. I swear prior to this the widget has an option for settings, but now it's not available ?. I don't see any other changes that I can tell.

The temp depicted here must be a weather app not the temperature of the vehicle (silly me) ?

I added the lock screen widget for my wife’s Tesla. I do see it update as she drives. I guess since I drive the R1S, I’d only see it update when I drive or the battery % changes.

I have, coming to the conclusion that all the reports/hype for "lock screen widget" are for iPhone releated...but the authors of said reports are too lazy to break iPhone/Android into 2 seperate things so they just lump them together even though the actual functionality that was released only effects iPhone.....

The Lock Screen widget is annoying. When you click an option there is no immediate feedback that an option was selected. You need to wait and hope for a response, frunk opens or doors unlock.

My Tesla lock screen widget opens the app when an option is selected. Rivian should at least display a message…waking vehicle, opening, working, blinking icon or something.
