My Rivian app has stopped logging charging sessions with the Rivian wall charger. Anyone else have this problem? Running app version 1.6.0, but I haven’t received the latest truck software update.
Using the mobile/travel charger it's always seemed really buggy. It mostly works, but sometimes the data shown seems obviously wrong. My truck sometimes connects via wifi and then sometimes falls back to cell. I think the software might have issues with this. I've been alarmed to think the truck is continuing to charge (into peak electricity hours) but I think the app will continue to report that it is charging even if it hasn't contacted the truck in a very long time. Quite often during a charge it will "forget" about the earlier portion of the charge - let's say it's been charging for 2 hours so far, it might decide to tell you the charge just started a minute ago.
I view it is generally unreliable information though sometimes it alerts me to issues. I still can't figure out how it determines charge amperage. Sometimes it gets set to a low value (16A seems common) and since I can't change it the app, I must walk out to the truck and + + + button it up to whatever amperage it's supposed to charge at.
And of course once it's stopped charging even for a minute no information is available in the app (though you can find your last charging session info in the truck)
